Arrow Low Cost and No Cost Website Marketing Tactics

When you mention advertising, most marketers think of expensive tactics with little or no results. Advertising is a tactic many business owners avoid especailly if they are new to internet market and have a limited budget. However, there are low cost, and no cost, web marketing techniques available. Consider using these inexpensive and free tactics to market your website or blog.

-Use classified ad sites and directories to market your website or blog. Online there are hundreds of free classified advertising sites and directories. Some are niche specific while others are open to any topic. Since they’re free any response you get is a positive return on investment. Ensure you write a compelling and enticing headlines when you create your advertisement. You need to detail and focus on the the benefits of your product or service and include a call to action in your ad.

- Use Local Search Engines. Add your business to local search engines like Google Places, Local Yahoo, and Local MSN and so on. All these listings are free and can boost a lot of business for website. Keep in mind to make sure the address and contact information is consistent with what you have published on your website or blog. Don't forget to include a few local keywords to your website SEO strategy.

For instance, if you’re located in Miami, Florida and your website is about pet training then you might choose “Pet training Miami, Florida.” That way your business will show up more frequently. Also add reviews and photos to your profile.

- Partnerships. Swap advertisements with related websites. For example, if you have a website about pet trainining and you know an organic food manufacturer, you can each publish an ad for the other on your website. It’s a simple advertising partnership. You can also publish ads in each other’s newsletters or on your video content. Both websites benefit from this arrangement.

-Use free listing sites like Craigslist to advertise for your business. Create the advertisements like you would for any other medium as discussed in yout first marketing tip.
-
- Browse online for AdWords credits and coupons. These coupons provide you with the opportunity to use AdWords for free for a short time. For example, you might receive a credit for $25, $50 or $100. Create a tight strategy for your PPC ad that includes a goal and purpose. Make sure you keep the ad so you don’t go over your credit or over your budget.

You don’t have to spend your life savings on website marketing. If you’re spending nothing take the time to develop an advertisement that has a specific objective. For instance, to drive traffic to your opt in page or newsletter subscribtion. Ensure your copy, keywords and call to action all support that objective. Last, but not least, test and track your ads for success.
