1. Use The Stats

Autoresponders like Aweber and Get Response come with statistics that show you some core details about how your email campaigns are performing. You will usually have access to stats like open rates, click through rates and number of signups. Use these stats as a gauge and make improvements to your marketing emails to improve your stats.

2. Wrap Your Emails

Keep your emails neat and tidy by 'word wrapping' them. Try to keep each line to a 60 character limit. If you use Aweber or Get Response, they have an option of automatically wrapping your emails so they look neater and easier on the eye.

3. Cloak Your Affiliate Links

If you promote affiliate programs, be sure to cloak your affiliate links to prevent people from seeing your affiliate extension and stealing your affiliate commissions. You can do by using a simple URL shortening tool like TinyURL.

4. Personalize Your Emails

Most autoresponders provide the option of personalizing your emails with the subscriber's first email. Use this especially in the subject line to increase your open rates.

5. Get Feedback

Sometimes it's best to ask your subscribers what kind of emails they prefer. If they prefer shorter emails, then keep your emails short. If they like longer content emails, then do just that. This will create an ultra responsive list.
