One of the problems you may be having at the moment with regards to building your list is that you do not know how to create an effective opt-in page. It's simple really, once you know how to do it.

So here's how to create an opt-in page that sucks in leads on a daily basis or even on an hourly basis for you:

1. Write a powerful headline. The goal of your headline is to grab the attention of your visitor immediately. It should really grab them and get them to read the rest of your page. How do you do that? By spelling out the greatest benefits or spelling out their problems.

2. Have good quality graphics. Graphics have been proven to increase sign-up rates (or even sales, for that matter). Go with a good graphic designer to design graphics for you. Simply do a search for 'ecover graphics' or 'minisite graphics' on Google and you should be able to come up with some good options for graphic designers.

3. Write piercing bullets. Bullet points are very effective for opt-in pages because many people tend to skim while they are reading on the Internet. Bullet points help people to do that easily while still getting the information they want. Remember, as a tried and tested advertising rule, always present benefits in your bullets, rather than features.

4. Have a good opt-in form. Your opt-in form is where you ask your subscribers to subscribe to your free newsletter or get access to your free ebook. The signup button is important. Constantly test different call-to-actions on your signup form. For instance, you can try 'Get Instant Access Now' or 'Give Me A Free Membership Now'.
