Default Website Flipping: Dealing With Your Local Customer

It is truly common that website flipping is a lucrative type of business, and it may work for many years to come. The best thing about website flipping is that, although this might not guarantee you a full-time income, at least you may have some extra money online rather than nothing.

In this article, we're going to talk about dealing with your local customer who is interested in buying your website. Most of the customers today are just relying on looking for websites on Flippa and other website auction portals, but it would be a lot easier on dealing with a local customer directly.

But how to deal with your local customer through direct approach?

In order for you do that, your customer must be within your city and the domain must be geo-targeted. For example, if your website is all about interior designing, you should look for local businesses that are related to the same niche. You can search them through the yellow pages or on your telephone directory.

As you have listed some of the best prospects for your website, you should call them or go to their office directly. Just try to be a nice guy to the one who responds your call, saying that you are selling your website for $XXX. Out of 10 companies that you've called, only 1 or 2 of them will be serious about buying your website.

Your price should be reasonable, and the website must be good-looking and appealing to your customer. If the company has no laptop, tablet or PC, you should bring one to present the website to him. But there's no guarantee that your customer may buy the website, he has the right to decide for himself.

At least you know that the customer is truly appreciated of what you have presented to him, which you may apply it on other targeted customers.
