Here's what I've found to be: many new marketers online often take too long to make any consistent profits online. The problem? They spend too much time learning and not enough time taking action!

Traffic + Conversion = Profits

Get traffic, have a good conversion rate on your site, and you have a profit machine. It's that simple, but most people want to complicate things.

How do you drive traffic? Here are some methods: article marketing (I do this everyday), Google Adwords (proven traffic generator - think about it, Google is a billion dollar company! If we don't make money, they don't), joint ventures, forum marketing, press releases, blogging and social networking.

Just master these methods and you'll have a stream of never-ending traffic on a daily basis.

How do you master conversion? There are two ways - you can either learn to write your own sales copy (not too difficult) or hire an expensive copywriter to do it. Just grab a few copywriting books (a good one is Web Copy That Sells by Maria Veloso) and you're all set.

Try not to focus on the complicated details in the beginning - they usually end up just bogging you down into too many details and stun you into inaction. Just concentrate on the basics and master them and you'll be earning consistent profits in no time.
