If you are considering entering affiliate marketing, you'd definitely want to have a solid system in place that allows you to do two things: capture leads and generate sales. Here are the 5 steps to allow you to achieve both really quickly:

Step 1 - Choose A Niche

A good niche for affiliate marketing is simply one where people are buying products, and lots of it! A niche that has plenty of repeat purchases is preferred. If your niche has lots of continuity programs like membership sites, it will be a good consideration because promoting continuity programs means a residual income every month!

Step 2 - Create A Free Offer

Create a free offer to capture leads. This can be a free report, a free audio, or a free video. This free offer should be so good that you could sell it! It's easy to create a free report, for example. You can outsource it to a freelancer (simply find one at Elance or GetAFreelancer).

Step 3 - Build An Opt-In Page

An opt-in page has one purpose only - to capture subscribers. It usually has a headline, some bullets explaining the benefits of your free offer and your opt-in form. You'd need an autoresponder to generate your opt-in form. I highly recommend Aweber.

Step 4 - Send Traffic To Your Opt-In Page

Now it's time to send traffic to your opt-in page and start building your list! The ways I send traffic to my websites are: article marketing, pay-per-click marketing and forum marketing.

Step 5 - Send Follow-Up Emails

Send follow-up emails to your list with relevant affiliate offers. Remember to send quality information or your members will unsubscribe!
