Social proof refers to the basic human tendency to see what others are saying. You can include testimonials of your product on your sales page or your product catalogue to create very stong social proof. This is one of the most powerful sales mechanisms around, so use it wisely.

3. Credibility

People buy from others who have credibility. Cite your credentials on your sales page. Testimonials are also a way of creating credibility. If your site has appeared on anywhere famous or won any awards, it is also a good idea to state it on your page. Having security seals and policies on your page also up the credibility factor.

4. Scarcity

Limited time offers and limited quantity offers always sell well. When an item is limited in quantity or might be sold out soon, we tend to place more value on it. So use this powerful tool to increase your sales.
