When you're first getting started online, finding a niche is one of your key concerns. It is the foundation with which your Internet business is built upon. Choose the right niche and you're laughing all the way to the bank. Here's a short step-by-step guide to finding a niche filled with buyers: 1. Write Out A Shortlist Of Niches Write out a shortlist of niches that you have in mind. This is the simplest step as you might already have some ideas for niches you want to enter. 2. Enter Them Into A Keyword Research Tool Enter the main keywords for the niches you have written down into either Wordtracker or Google Adwords' keyword research tool. Both will give you estimated numbers of searches for each keyword on the search engines. 3. Go To Amazon Visit Amazon's best sellers list and check out the best selling books. Are any of the niches you have shortlisted among the topics of the books at the top? Also, do a search for your niches to see how many books appear. If there are many books on the topic, it is likely to be a profitable topic. 4. Check Out Ebay Ebay's Pulse section picks out the hottest trends and most popular searches on the auction site. You can even search it by category so you can see which are the hottest products in each category. See if your niches fit into any of the top trends, searches or most popular products in the categories. Here's to finding your winning niche!
