I created a high quality keyword optimized content website but Google did not turn up and gave me enough traffic to make my first website successful.
When my site failed I realized that I cannot rely on Google or any search engine to make a living online.
I decided to do something different. I purchased a set of resell right products and packaged them into a unique product.
I wrote my own sales letter and decided to drive traffic to the sales copy. Then I put up my second website to test this sales letter and this new package.
I wrote articles and directed the traffic to this new site and this made me my first $24.97 sale.
I was excited because this was the first earning I had made after 3 years of internet struggle.
I learned something. What I learned is that I need to have a system to make money. Just directing the visitors to content will distract them and they will not get focused on making me money.
Therefore I decided to drive them on my sales letter and it made me money.
With this experience and as I learned more I created my third website where I created a simple squeeze page to build my list.
I drove all my traffic to this squeeze page and it made me a list of 6000 leads.
I now focused all these leads into a sales funnel where I promoted products to them one by one every week. These products were either personally created by me or I got PLR rights for the same.
This site ended up driving over 30,000 visitors and earned me over $25,000.
