I've always maintained that you should build a list with article marketing. With a list what you have is a repeat traffic source. And when you get visitors on your list, you can ask them to forward your website to your friends, ask them to participate in your affiliate program, and all these steps will just explode your traffic.

And if you already use an an autoresponder, it won't cost you a single cent more to this.

Offer a free gift, offer a free email course, free videos or a free ebook. It can even be a product you've got giveaway rights on, but whatever you do, you must build a list, or most of your traffic will just be water running down your tap - being wasted.

The idea is to maximize the amount of time a visitor spends with you. If you don't build a list, most of the traffic will only be spending seconds on your website before they move on with their lives.

So start building your list now. Start writing and submitting articles and send your traffic to your opt-in page to grow your list. It will reap big dividends for you in the long run. And your income will explode. You'll get more referrals, more leads and more sales.
