Just did a search in quotes for the product name of one of my free giveaway reports and found 15,600 results on Yahoo. Some of them were people giving away my free report (by the way, add the domain name of your site on the cover to get traffic for nothing). Others were from reprint articles.

Giveaway rights for your ebook + articles = a pretty cool viral explosion

Giving giveaway rights to your ebook and giving that ebook away will create some pretty massive traffic numbers to your website. You will start seeing other people giving away your ebook and indirectly sending you traffic.

Contrary to popular belief, building a list of freebie seekers is not a bad thing at all. In fact, it's the best thing you can do. It gets more numbers into your marketing funnel.

Building a customer's list is great too. But although conversions will be higher, what matters are the overall profits.

Why shut out freebie seekers who might one day buy from you? That's just folly. Conversion rates might be higher, but the profits might actually be lower since you have lesser potential numbers who will buy from you in your marketing funnel.

So go and create a free report, create a cover for it with your domain name splashed on it, and start advertising it. I use articles to advertise my free report and it's working very well for me. That's one route you can take. But it's only one strategy out of many you should be using. Consider pay per click marketing, social marketing and classified ads.
