Amazon is a great tool for sourcing out niche markets to penetrate and conquer. It's the biggest online bookstore on the Internet, and that makes it a valuable and accurate indicator as to what kind of information people are buying right now.

The first thing you'd want to do when you enter the Amazon website is to go to the non-fiction section. The fiction section won't be of much use to us in finding niche markets since information products that people usually buy online and are willing to spend huge sums of cash on are non-fiction information products like tutorials, step-by-step guides, business guides and the like. You'd want to create a non-fiction information product too because it is easier to create than a fiction one.

You'd probably have in mind some niche topics that you want to use for your information product. Click on 'Bestsellers' in the Books section and look carefully through the books at the top. At the moment, some books on spiritual enlightenment, getting rich, brain power and diet are selling very well. Could you create a digital product on one of these topics? Yes, it's possible! You could arrange interviews with experts you get in touch with and turn them into a book, or simply study certain diets and create an ebook on a particular diet.

It might also be worth your time to look through the New York Times Bestsellers List. You can look through the list on Amazon as well and get some ideas to run with for your information product.
