Arrow Sales Page Models - Which One Is Right For You?

If you are going to put up a sales page, you'll most likely be following a particular model that has been proven for success. Doing anything else is just folly. Well, there are many sales page models around the Web that have had massive success.

I think this is a subject not touched on enough but I will try to describe (somewhat briefly) the different sales page models currently around that I have seen.

1. Only the opt-in form on page. (example: Yanik Silver's Public Domain Riches) - This is commonly also known as an opt-in page.

2. Opt-in form (located at bottom or at the side) + salesletter. (example: 7 Day Ebook website)

3. Salesletter + pop-up after leaving. (example: 33 Days To Online Profits Website)

4. Salesletter + pop-up upon arrival (example: Dominating CB)

5. Hybrids or combinations of the above (opt-in form + salesletter + opt-in popup)

I personally like Sales Page Model number 2. Doesn't seem too obtrusive and enables the visitor to concentrate on the sales letter for the main product. It's a great way of getting people on your list as well as not detracting from the main purpose of the sales page - which is to generate sales for your product.

I also very much like Sales Page Model number 1 and use it for a lot of my sites which offer a free product. I use this model to generate leads to my autoresponder. It's short and doesn't require too much reading time so as to bore the reader. It grabs attention and it gets results.

Another way to do it is to use Model number 1 as the home page of your site, and once the visitor opts in, use Model number 2. If someone is not willing to give you their email address, than they won't buy your products. So that's a very effective combination.
