Sometimes in Internet marketing, we tend to depend too much on 'gurus' and mentors. The trick to breaking free and finally earning the income you want is to take charge. Take charge of your own business. You are your own boss, no one else is.

Unlike a job, no one is here to tell you what to do and when to do it. And that's a good thing. If you need a mentor go cajole you into action, then maybe you just do not want it badly enough.

Ever heard of the term "self-made entrepreneur"? Well, many Internet marketers are self-made. They learned their trade from many different Internet marketers and never relied on one source. They found certain strategies and tactics to fit into their business plan, but they never followed one 'guru' religiously.

Spending less time learning and more time doing is a good idea to take your business to new heights. You are now a CEO, a director or whatever it is you want to call yourself. You are the boss. Make decisions like one and move forward with them. There comes a time when it's time to stop being an Internet marketing student but to become a real entrepreneur.
