Internet Marketing - Ready-Aim-Fire Or Ready-Fire-Aim?

There's been a phrase that's been going around in Internet marketing circles called "Ready, Fire, Aim". What it means is that you shouldn't deliberate too much about your business decisions and actions, but that you should 'fire' first and then see what happens.

I'm not one to suggest not taking action. Taking massive action is very important to your success, but acting on a whim on too many occasions has created bankrupts out of businessmen and gamblers. If you do too much "Ready, Fire, Aim", it's really gambling.

So does that mean you should "Ready, Aim, Fire"?

The truth is somewhere in between. Act on your instincts when you can, but only after you have made a considered decision as to whether it would be worth your while or your investment.

And don't deliberate too much on your decisions. That's analysis paralysis and it can cripple you from taking any action that can forward your business. Don't over analyze, but DO analyze! Spending wildly on products and services you don't need and spending too much time learning will not help you in reaching your Internet marketing goals.

Let's say you have read about a traffic generation source and you think it might work out. Well, what you'd want to do is to read reviews on it before you make your decision. Don't just rush in and give it a try. For all we know, the source could be a dodgy one.

Take massive action in your business, but keep a cool head while doing it.
