1. Find the right opportunity. Before you can make any money in network marketing, you must be part of a company that you can trust. There are many great companies out there, and it is important that you analyze the strengths & weaknesses of each before making your decision.

2. Follow someone that has what you want. Have you ever heard the phrase "success leaves clues?" This means that in order to establish a residual income with network marketing, you need to follow someone thag you aspire to be like. If you want to cold call all day, then find a successful MLM leader who has built his/her business that way. If you want to master Internet prospecting & lead generation (like I do), then follow someone who is doing that.

3. Make your focus helping others. Many people put money first, and while everyone in MLM does want to create a substantial residual income stream, the best way to do that is to help others get what they want. If you can help others in your company improve their lives and make more money, your abundance with manifest itself times 10.

4. Observe the 80/20 rule & focus on the 20% tasks. In network marketing, your residual income is going to be largely created by 20% of your actions. Each opportunity is different, but you have to find those high ROI activities for your business & focus on those.
