Earning Money Online-Checklist of what you MUST do

I have been online and earning good money now for the past 2 years. 3 years before that, I have been trying to make money on the web but failed many times. So the 5 total years that I have been doing online marketing, I have learned a few things about how to earn money online.
When it comes to earning money on the Internet, there are a few things that you need to have if you want to really succeed. I have failed in my first 3 years so I know what I am talking about.
In this article we will take a look at how earning money online is so much easier then you think. This is my own point of view:
1. Having a quality computer and high speed Internet.
When it comes to earning money on the Internet, the one thing that you really need is a computer and a high speed Internet connection. You can waste valuable time if you are working with an outdated computer and a slow Internet connection. If you have both, my suggestion is to get a new computer and a new high speed Internet connection.
Time is money when it comes to earning money online. You can't do a whole lot when you have a very slow computer and Internet connection. I used to have one and it used to frustrate me so much. That is why I went out and got myself and brand new laptop and high speed Internet connection.
You will be amazed at how much work you can get done with a high quality computer and high speed Internet.
2. Having quality products to sell.
You need to find good and honest product that you can offer to others. There are many good affiliate programs that you can join but you need to find out if their product is any good to your future customers and if they pay their affiliates on time and consistently.
When you join any of the many affiliate programs to promote to your website visitors and customers, it would also be a good idea to join some sort of a home based network marketing company that will allow you to earn a residual income for years and years to come.
Selling a good product that has a one time fee is a good way to make money now, but when you build a strong residual income too, this is the best way to go.
3. Getting your own internet website.
One of the biggest mistakes that people who work with affiliate programs and network marketing companies is that they use the company's own links without getting their own website name.
It would look more professional if your affiliate link looks like this:
yourwebsiteame.com/affiliate-link.html (This looks more professional)
and not like this:
affilaitesite.com/98765
It will be important to your business and long term on line success to get your own website name. What ever your niche market is, try to get those keywords in it.
So if you have a "Earn Money Online" website, try to register a domain name that has "Earn Money Online" in it.
4. Getting an Auto Responder.
Here is a simple rule. Every person that comes through your website, will eventually leave it without buying anything. What you should do is to give that person the chance to subscribe to your autoresponder. How do you do that? Well, you can offer them a free newsletter that you will send to them by email. Get yourself signed up with an Auto-Responder company, add some follow up emails to it, and then add a newsletter subscription form to your website.
What you will want to do is to give every visitor the chance to subscribe to your newsletter. Even if they don't buy anything from your website and give you their email, you will have many chances that they will buy what ever you are selling on your website through email.
Having a quality opt list is a very important tool if you want to create a long term income online. Buying email lists in NOT the way to go. I repeat, buying email lists is NOT the way to go.
5. Having an effective advertising campaign.
One of the main reasons why people never make enough money online is because they don't get enough visitors to their website each day. Getting just a few of them will not do you any good. Do the math and see what numbers you need to reach everyday.
What you will also want to do is to set up a pay per click marketing campaign on the major search engines for instant traffic. For long term free traffic, you can go into online forum posting and article writing.
If you can follow the checklist above and follow all of them, you will be able to create a bigger income on the world wide web. Whether it is just a few hundred dollars a month or a six figure yearly income. You too can make it BIG.
