Like all marketing, list building is about learning and slowly getting better and more effective at sucking cash out of your prospects (ethically, of course).

As someone who regularly has $100+ days, here are 7 killer tips I want to give you:

Use YouTube

Most marketers don't know that YouTube is a goldmine for traffic. It's just like EzineArticles was in the old days.

Do not ignore it. It is incredibly easy to rank for keywords on YouTube. My suggestion to you: exploit it.

Check Your State For Unsuccessful Sends

Don't pay your autoresponder company for non-responsive leads. Check periodically and see who never opens your emails and ditch them. Pruning your list is something all pro list marketers do.

Privacy Policy

You can test to see if it makes a difference. If you're just starting out, I suggest not bothering. Nobody really cares about it anyway.

Be Yourself

Don't pretend to be anyone else. Be yourself, be authentic. When I did this, more people bought from me. It works.

Put An Offer Right After Confirmation

Do not make the noob mistake I did for years by not having anything after the subscriber confirmed their email address.

ALWAYS have an offer that you redirect them to. Because once they're on your list, they'll get your emails anyway, you've done the hard part. Now just throw an offer in front of their face.

A one time offer is best but even an affiliate redirect is just as good if you're just starting out.

Subscribe To Other Marketers

Subscribe to other lists and then create a filter in GMail so they don't hit the Inbox but instead go to a folder.

This way you won't get bombarded with emails and anytime you struggle to think of something to write, just check your folder and read some emails for inspiration. It's easy!

Schedule Follow-Ups

List building is lucrative but not always so easy, especially in the beginning. Don't get into a situation where your broadcasts are just not making money.

To avoid losing money like this, schedule at least 7 automatic follow-ups. That way you know that everyone is going to be emailed with promotions on the front-end and you should make at least some money that way.
