Using Twitter To Promote Your Online MLM Business- Does It Really Work?

There are so many great ways to promote your online MLM business. You can use pay per click, forum advertising, classified ads, advertising on other people HIGH traffic blogs, comment on popular work at home blogs, video marketing on YouTube, article marketing, and so much more.

One of the most popular ways to drive traffic to your business is to use Twitter. Well, that is what a good number of people say and I really don't think that it is the best. In fact, I really believe that it is a waste of your time.

It is pretty much like traffic exchange websites. Just as you sign up to other people's twitter and follow them, their goal is to get you into their business. So it is kind of like a lose-lose situation for both.

Now, if you are a really known "MLM" expert in your field and have 100,000's of people following you and you are only following 20 people, then yes you can probably do well. Look at many celebrities out there who are using Twitter. They have a lot of people following them and when they upload a pic of themselves, thousands of clicks are generated.

But if you take a look at 98% of the Twitter users out there who are in business online, they usually have 5000 people following them and they are also following the same number of people.

It is a total waste of your time to try to buy followers or to even use Twitter to get more business.

I really believe that there are other places online in terms of social media that you can do well with. Video marketing on Youtube is a great way to get some new customers clicking on your link which will be at the bottom of each of your videos.

Another thing I want to say about Twitter is that if you promote a twit just like you would use pay per click advertising then use that. This will work because PPC works too.
