Email processing- This scam require you to pay a one time fee and you will get paid to "process" emails for like $2-$3 per email.

Chain letters- You will get, in the mail, a letter that says that you should send $5-$10 to the 5 people's addresses on that letter. Then you will get a list of others to send the same letter and they will send you money too.

Parts assembly- You will either get an email or a letter saying that a company is looking for people to assemble parts for them for a small fee and you can earn in return a few hundreds of dollars per week for this type of work.

Pyramid Schemes- This usually involves you sending money to your "upline" and there is no products at all. Then you recruit others and they send money to you. Unlike network marketing which is very legitimate, this is a scam because there are no products.

Become a typist- These people tell you that you have to pay a small fee and then they will show you how to do the same and have others pay you that money too. This is also called "Data Entry jobs".

For many of these work at home scams that are out there, the only people who are making the money are the scammers who helped people like you believe that you can make money with these "opportunities".

Never fall for these and if they do ask you for your personal info, never give it out to them. What you will get is a lower bank balance and lots of frustrations. You will not earn a single penny from this.

Now, if you do come across a website or a "program" that you are just not sure about, just do a search for them on Google and type in something like "company name SCAM".

You can also call the Federal Trade Commissions or the BBB to see any info on that product or company.
