Network marketing has a bad reputation, with many people citing a "failure rate" of over 90%. However, few people realize that more than 90% of people don't make it in any form of online business, and 8 out of 10 offline small businesses typically do not last more than 5 years.

So, is the problem really MLM, or is it more widespread?


I certainly cannot speak for most industries, but in the internet marketing world, the main reasons people do not succeed is because they are lazy, over-analytical, and do not take action.

Some people call it "analysis paralysis" and it is a real problem that keeps people from achieving the results they desire.

You see, if you wait until you have all of your ducks in a row before launching your network marketing business, then you will never make any real money. Your business is not going to be perfect from the beginning (actually it never will be), but you have to get started in order to start making sales, gain a little confidence, and reinvest the profits back into your business.

The key to a successful MLM business is having a consistent flow of targeted prospects, something that you may be struggling with.
