A Google Adsense No-No

So you wake up in the morning and check that you just made $20 for the last day with Google adsense and this has been going on for a few days. Not bad for your first few days with them and you have not done any type of paid advertising. All free from the natural search engines.

The next day you check your adsense revenue for the last day and you only see $0.55 that you earned. What had just happened? You are not really sure so you want to see if the clicks are really showing up or being tracked. So you click on the your own ads yourself.

Blam, you just committed an adsense crime. When you click, even by mistake, on your own ads that you posted on your site Google will find out without a problem that you did this and will let you know about it by closing your account and keeping all the funds that you earned for themselves.

This exact thing happened to me in the past. I was getting traffic to my site but for some reason no one was clicking on the Google ads. So I wanted to see if my own 1 small click on those ads are being tracked. They were.

So Mr. Google found out and within 2 days, my account was deleted. My income that I earned was not given to me ever. And I could never register with them again.

If this is your main source of income online, always make sure that you don't accidentally click on your own ads because big daddy Google will find out and will slap you and get rid of your forever.

To be honest, I would do the same thing. I want everyone to win and those advertisers that spend money to have their ads on your site, you can not cheat them. It is wrong. It is all about keeping things honest for them.
