1. The first thing I discovered are the various categories and sub categories of my niche.
I discovered the keywords relating to these categories and sub categories using Google keywords tool.
I arranged the keywords into a silo structure which is basically arranging these keywords into a logical order in which you will be arranging the content on your website. I used excel spread sheet to get my silo ready.
2. I started writing articles for this silo and I structured them on my website using the silo structure. I optimized the articles using the main keywords and LSI (Latent Symentic Index) keywords. LSI keywords are keywords that are related to the main keywords of the articles.
3. I created few articles and then started submitting them to various article directories. The main directory I submit my article manually to is ezinearticles.com
I used a mass distribution service to distribute my articles to few hundred article directories to build incoming links to my website.
4. I deep linked my website. What this means is that I linked the internal pages of my site using the article resource box. Google gave ranking to my internal pages too because of the incoming links that the internal pages of my website were getting from my articles.
5. Finally I converted my articles into videos. There are few services like 'Article Video Robot' that will help you to convert your articles into talking videos and submit them to video directories like youtube.com
6. I did the entire process above for hundreds of keywords and this literally got my website thousands of visitors from all corners of the web.
