If you are looking into purchasing an email autoresponder program in order to build & manage your email list, then two of the main options to consider are Aweber & GetResponse (note: I use Aweber, but none of the links here are affiliate links specifically for Aweber).

While there are other reviews on these two programs, I wanted to provide an updated, 2012 review on Aweber & GetResponse since I had not seen many of them lately.

Here are a few things to consider:

1. GetResponse is slightly cheaper than Aweber. You can start using Aweber with a $1 trial, while a trial with GetResponse (at the time of writing this) is free, but either of these trial offers could change in the future.

2. Aweber is perhaps the most trusted name in email marketing, and boasts a 99% delivery rate. If you know anything about email marketing, you know that getting your emails delivered & opened is an essential first step. Aweber does this very well.

3. While both programs offer support, I can attest first hand that Aweber is fantastic. You also have significant customization options with Aweber contact forms. Aweber also has a variety of video tutorials to make it easy for the "technically challenged" to get started with building & marketing to a list.

When you are looking at Aweber vs. GetResponse, they are just about even with each other. I give the slight advantage to Aweber, as they have been "in the game" longer & understand the needs of internet marketers.

That is my 2012 review, hope you enjoyed it.
