For those of you who are thinking about advertising your website or blog with traffic exchanges, I want to talk briefly about what I think is the real truth about this type of internet traffic.
Now, the one thing I am not going to do here is to name any name or bash any programs out there.
See, every single traffic exchange user has his or her goal in mind and that is to get as much traffic and people to their website as possible by clicking on your ad and earning them more and more credits.
I can talk from personal experience in an 8 month period. I used this service and others to see if I can get more signups to a free program that I am in. Over those 8 months, I did not get any signups, let alone any sales. I know this because I tracked everything down.
The one thing I am surprised is that there is one guru online who uses this service, recommends it to his members, and has been using it for years. Now, I personally have used both paid and free promotions online over the years and they all have worked for me.
This type of "guaranteed" traffic, traffic exchange websites, is the worst I have ever come across. People who are clicking on your ad and go directly to your site, they don't want to sign up to your program. They just want more credits thinking that the more people click on their ads with the many credits that they stacked up, the more subscribers and sales that they will make. It is a crappy cycle.
I don't personally recommend these services. You are wasting your time.
