If you ever advertised with pay per click search engines in the past, you must have come across this problem:

You were bidding on good and targeted keywords and with low bids but some how, you were getting many clicks and no one has signed up to your list or bought anything from you. You might have even used that PPC company in the past and gotten good results but now, you are getting more clicks faster then usual and no one buys your stuff.

See How I Am Earning 100% Commissions On A Product That Is Not Even Mine!

In my case, this has happened to me a few times with a PPC company which I am not going to name any names here. Yesterday and today, I had a SPIKE of traffic from the same ads that I have been running for months now and getting good results with.

From traffic that I got in 3-4 days, I got it in one single day. What has just happened there you ask? I can guarantee you that these clicks where not real people because actually my opt in numbers for my business list went down by a whole lot.

In many cases, there are dishonest affiliates who sent me these "clicks" but they were not real people. They were computer generated clicks which is pretty much fraudulent.

If this ever happens to you, just know that you can do something about this.

1. You should for sure PAUSE your campaigns. This is what I just did.

2. Email the company that you are with and tell them about this. They should check it out for you. For me, in the past, they caught one of their affiliates for sending bogus hits to my website and other people and I got all of the money returned back to me so that I can spent it on real and legitimate traffic.
