The first thing to do to get website traffic is to know if the traffic you are getting is the right traffic. Analyze your traffic. How many people are visiting your site? Of those that are visiting how many of them are purchasing your products or services? It could be that you are getting traffic but it might be the wrong traffic.
What is attracting reader to your website? You might have a beautiful website that is drawing readers to it but how do you get your readers to stay and buy? The best way to get someone to your website is to put something informative on your website. With all the competition on the web, even if you have a recognizable brand, you need to offer something to help draw people in. If you don't want to inform them, then entertain and put some interesting videos on your site.
Use someone else's traffic. Submit your website to reputable and popular directories. Use the traffic that they generate to direct some of that traffic to your site. Post on discussion boards and forums. Post a comment with a link to your website. Find forums that pertain to your product or service.
