How To Monetize Google Adwords

When it comes to advertising on the internet, everybody makes mistakes - especially beginners. Most people start off online with pay per click advertising thinking that they're going to make a killing from Day 1. Sadly, their dreams get killed on Day 1 when they see that all of their money didn't produce any sales for them.

Why does this kind of thing happen? Well, there are a number of reasons for this result. One reason is something called "click fraud". This is when pay per click companies use robots to click on your ads and drain your balance so that they can get you to invest more money. Even some of the most well-known pay per click search engines do this.

Another reason is that your keywords aren't relevant. For example, if you sell a product on bodybuilding, but you include keywords like "get fit", "lose weight", "look great", or "steroids"... you probably won't be getting alot of sales from your product. Instead, stick with simple keywords that you think people are using to find the information that you are selling.

Luckily, you don't have to incorporate search engine optimization (SEO) in the mix. You can take a shortcut and use pay per click advertising to get ahead of the search engine rankings. Now in some niches, you will pay a high price to get your site ranked at the top of search engines, but for other niches, this is definitely feasible.

A pay per click service like this that you can use is something called Google Adwords. Google Adwords is an advertising program by Google that allows you to get website traffic from them for a very low price. Every time someone clicks on your ad in Google's search engine results, you get charged a fee.

This fee can be small, or it can be big - it all depends on your niche and how much you're willing to spend per click, and for a lead. If you sell a high priced product and the conversion rate justifies a high cost per click, then maybe this is a good idea. But if you're selling a $7 ebook, and you want to compete with the "big boys" who are spending $1 or more a click... you're going to see yourself shot out of the way by these businesses who have the advertising funds to spend.

Because of this, this is why people say find the niche first, then find the product. Because if you find the product first and then the niche, you could potentially find yourself in a situation where you're "pushing" your product onto the marketplace, instead of attracting them towards you.

When it comes to Adwords, no other pay per click platform compares. They get the most traffic, and will get you the most visitors. It's up to you to decide how you're going to make money with this medium, and how much you want to invest to kick start your online marketing campaign.

Good luck with using these tips to use Google Adwords effectively in your business.
