Opt-In Email Marketing Strategies

Are you using opt-in email marketing to get more subscribers? If so, then great! If not, then I suggest you start using it right away. Opt-in email marketing is the equivalent of "permission marketing". Permission marketing simply means that your subscriber willingly subscribed to your email newsletter, after she visited your webpage/squeeze page.

This means that you're not spamming anyone or arriving in someone's email inbox without their permission. You can get blacklisted this way and it's something that I highly recommend that you DON'T do. You will find that with the right niche, it's incredibly easy to get opt-in subscribers at little to no cost.

I can't understand why people would want to spam someone anyway. They probably think it's a fast and easy way to riches when in fact, it can do way more harm than good. Stick with using opt-in email marketing. You'll make more money this way, and you won't get in trouble by using it.

To make your opt-in email marketing campaign work, you need email content. The best way to get this content is to write it yourself. The thing about emails is that they don't have to be long. Compared to a sales letter, your email should be rather short and to the point. Don't cloak your email letter in a sales letter disguise. No one likes that. Instead, give helpful information and include your website information at the end of the letter.

When it comes to getting more opt-in subscribers, you will want to put your opt-in HTML form on EVERY page of your website. Or if you're using a squeeze page, make sure the squeeze page is properly presented, and is set up in a way that encourages the signup. If you have to test it, then test it. But just make sure that it converts well.

Now there's something that you definitely don't want to do. And when I say don't do it, I mean DON'T DO IT. What am I talking about? I'm talking about not to email your leads everyday. This is the fastest way to get ignored. I know you see all the gurus spamming your inbox everyday with their new product or software gadget, and you may be wondering, "If they're emailing everyday, maybe I should be emailing everyday."

This is just plain wrong.

The truth is that if you want to build loyal followers, you need to give them time to miss you. Don't spam their inboxes everyday thinking that they're going to buy your product, because it just won't happen. Instead, email them about every 3-5 days. This is a great frequency as compared to everyday.

The last thing you need to be aware of is writing good email subject lines. If no one opens your email, what's the point of sending it out? You need to learn how to write subject lines that gets your emails opened, and that gets people enthused about what it is that you're writing about.

Email marketing is something that you definitely want to incorporate into your marketing arsenal, so start using it today to make more money in your online business today.

Good luck with using these email marketing strategies to your advantage.
