When it comes to article marketing, you have to be patient. Even though major results won't come overnight, you have to be consistent with it and continue to churn out more high quality articles so that you can get more website hits for free, and for other website owners to publish your article onto their website.

Some people say they do article marketing for direct traffic from the article directories and the website owners who publish their articles on their website. And some people say they do article marketing for SEO (search engine optimization) reasons and to acquire alot of great backlinks.

In my opinion, you shouldn't be doing article marketing for SEO reasons. You should be using it to get more traffic and to make more money in your business. Profits should always come first as opposed to SEO where the search engine algorithms and rules could change on you at any time.

One thing that you don't want to do when it comes to creating your articles is to create an article out of something that somebody else wrote. I think you'll achieve better results if you just wrote your own article from scratch, and you'll understand the topic better, while not trying to understand what somebody else's article was trying to do.

I don't know about you, but I assimilate article quality, with article length. I personally strive to write 500 word articles because there's just not enough room to deliver great information in a 250 word article. Some people like writing 250 word articles because they can create it quick, and upload it to an article directory... without much regard to whether or not it's of high quality.

This is why alot of article directories have set new rules, limits, and boundaries when it comes to submitting to their directory. A 250 word article may be quick, but do you think it will truly benefit your reader? Now I know that a 250 word article can be good, but most of the articles that I see that are this small aren't very good articles.

Do like me and write 500+ word articles. You'll get more people publishing your article onto their website, and you'll acquire alot of credibility in the eyes of your readers. You can debate this all you want, but those are just the simple facts. If your article already has 250 words... simply add 250 more words. This isn't too hard, right?

It shouldn't be. I can write 500 word articles all day and my readers love me for it. That's why they stick around. You need to become a prolific writer and write articles that can truly change lives. Your readers will love you for it, your profits will love you for it, and your business will love you for it also. So be sure to start writing high quality articles today.

It isn't hard to write a good article. You just have to be consistent with it, and start focusing on content that your readers will like, instead of working on making your income bigger. Be reader-focused, and you will be good to go.

Good luck with all of your article marketing efforts.
