Blog Marketing - How To Get More Traffic

I want to talk to you today about ways to boost your sales and profits using blogs alone. Blogging is a unique way to build relationships with your readers, and to acquire lots of new visitors on a daily basis. Even if you already have a website, having a blog will provide you with great ways to interact with your customer database.
I personally enjoy blogging because it takes so little time out of my day, all while getting me the traffic and new visitors that I desire. Now starting a blog isn't a cake walk. Well, to create one is a cake walk, but getting traffic to it isn't. Getting traffic to your blog is the same thing of getting traffic to anything else.
You can't be lazy and hope that someone will find you. You have to be proactive in your approach to blog marketing, and start aggressively bring traffic back to you. 1) Video marketing
There are a ton of video sites on the internet, but the largest one is Youtube - and I think it's the one that you should focus on the most. First of all if a video that you upload to Youtube is around 100MB big... it's going to take a long time for that 1 video to upload. And by the time you've finished uploading all of your videos, you will have to wait in the same way while you submit to 20 other video sites.
I suggest you find some tools on the internet that can shrink the size of your Youtube videos, so that it doesn't take all day to do. Make sure in your video that you have your blog address at the bottom of the video. Also, include it in the description of your video. The URL in the description of the video will be hyperlinked, while the URL on the video won't be. Here's another blog traffic tip:
2) Consider forums
Forum marketing is a great way to get traffic to your blog literally overnight. I'm a member of a high traffic forum myself and I make sure that I have my blog listed in the signature of my posts. What you will want to do is find a forum, join it, and become an active participant in it.
This is one of the best ways to get traffic to your blog for free, and I highly recommend you doing this. To find a forum in your niche, go to Google and type in "[your niche] forums". Alot of results will come up. You want to join the forums that allow you to plug your blog information in the signature of your posts. If they don't allow signatures, don't join the forum - unless you just want to make friends for personal reasons.
These 2 tips will help you to get the blog traffic that you desire, without alot of work. The more you implement these techniques, the more traffic you will get to your blog, and the more income you will make from your blog if you have monetized it correctly. I hope it all works out for you.
