If you want to boost your business this year, there's something that you will definitely want to do if you want to have the most success in your online business as possible. That "something" is creating your own opt-in email list. With an opt-in list, you can follow up on your prospects and customers over and over again - which will boost your conversion rates.

I'm a big fan of opt-in email marketing, and I think you should be too. Marketing on the internet is tough, and you have alot of competitors. So alot of the old things in the past that used to work, don't work anymore. But I believe that setting up a "squeeze page" and sending your traffic there is a universal law of all successful internet marketing.

What you include in your email newsletter is up to you. But you should know that generally, all you need is good content, and a link back to your website so that you can drive your subscribers to your sales letter page. This is something that is very critical to the success of your internet marketing efforts, and I think you can make money with it if you choose to do so.

For ideas, consider contacting them every 3 to 4 days. Along with that, wish them a "Happy Holiday" whenever a new holiday comes around. You could even structure a marketing campaign around a holiday that will inspire action and get you more sales from your list.

With opt-in email marketing, you're only a few thousand subscribers away from earning money on a consistent basis. And depending on how you acquire those subscribers, you could reach a large number of them within a short period of time. But it can be done whether you're using advertising, or even if you're using free marketing.

I personally like free marketing better because you don't have to pay anything. Sure free marketing will take a short little while to build up a list, but in the end, all you're left with is 100% free profits on each sale that you make with free marketing. As opposed to paid advertising, you will get results fast, and you may have to break even or even go negative just to acquire a customer.

I think paid marketing has it place in the online business world. For me, I use pay per click advertising to test out a new squeeze page or marketing campaign that I've set up. If the results are good, I stop using paid advertising, and strictly focus on getting more targeted subscribers for free.

Like I said I'm a fan of free marketing. You can't lose money with it, you don't have to pour in thousands of dollars on an advertising campaign, and sometimes it's fast. The only thing about free marketing that I don't like is that it requires an investment of your time. But if you're getting good results from your free marketing, this should be nothing.

Use these email marketing and general internet marketing tips to make the most money in your business as possible.

Good luck with having a thriving and successful business.
