How To Market On Facebook - Facebook Marketing Tips

1) Make sure that you set up at least 30 ads to start. That sounds like a lot but it really isn't. Let me explain. You need to test each aspect of your ad. Here are the different things you should be testing:
- Headline.
- Body Copy
- Photo
- Audience.
Do the same thing with the photo, and you have another 5 ads. So far you have 15 ads. But I said you need 30 ads! Take the 15 ads you have and change the audience. Maybe 1 ad is for 18-25 year olds. Maybe 1 ad is for people who like dogs. There are tons of interests and demographic information you can choose from.
2) So now that you have those 30 ads. Now what?? Well, you have to decide on how much you are going to bid. I ALWAYS start with CPM (cost per thousands). This way you are paying for every 1,000 ads that are shown. This costs you less for the time being while you are waiting to see which ads convert.
3) Your next step is to wait about 5-7 days. After awhile you will start to see a trend. Some of your ads are getting more clicks than others. You may be surprised to find that the ads that you thought were going to convert, don't. And the ads you thought were terrible do really well. Prepare to be amazed!
4) Switch to CPC. You probably have 1 or 3 ads that are doing really well by now. If it makes sense, switch them to Cost-Per-Click. It may or may not.
5) Test more. Now that you know which ads are doing well and you have optimized your campaign, you might want to test with different landing pages or different offers. REMEMBER, only change 1 element at a time when you are testing. If you change more than 1 variable, your test will be invalid.
I hope you enjoyed my Facebook marketing tips. Use them wisely!
