If you want to succeed in your online business, you will need a sensational marketing plan. You need a plan where it can run on it's own via autopilot, while you're sipping on coladas near the pool. 1) Marketing to backend customers

Take a guess... do you know the percentage of profits that you will make each year just by marketing to your past customers? Did you give up guessing? Well guess what, if your answer is anywhere between 20% to 30%... you're wrong! Sales from backend customers will account for 80% of your total business revenue. Now I know you like getting new customers in the door, but what's the point of doing so if you're not going to market to them over and over again?

Following up and marketing to your backend customers is something that is very important. When I used to sell products on Ebay, every 2 weeks I would contact my list of customers letting them know that new products were inside of my Ebay store. I would get tons of sales alone based off of selling to my backend customers alone. I'm sure you can do the same thing in your business also.

Let's take a look at another internet marketing strategy that you will want to use in your business also:

2) Generate a lead

Your email list is the lifeblood of your business. I've heard someone say the following statement before in the past, and it still holds true today. What I heard was (and I quote), "If you don't have an email list, you don't have an internet business". I still agree with this notion till this day.

Imagine if you had a large list of 100,000 people... how many sales do you think you would be getting each day? This is seriously something to consider because lists this size take a while to build, but if you have a large advertising budget, achieving this list size can be attainable very quickly.

When you generate a lead, you want to follow up on this lead over and over again until they buy. Don't quit if you're not getting alot of sales. It happens - especially if you have a small list of like 500 leads or so. You need leads into the thousands to see consistent profits everyday. It's something that you will want to strive for in your business.
