If you didn't already know, it's very easy to get a blog. A blog is a platform to share your thoughts and ideas, and to really build up a following amongst your blog subscribers. Blogging is very easy to get started into, and today I would like to show you how you can enter into this potentially profitable realm of internet marketing.

You could go and sign up for a service called "Wordpress". I personally think that Wordpress is too technical for my tastes, so I like to stick with Blogger - since it's really a drag and drop operation.
A blog is cool. You can design it the way you want, you can make money with it easily, you can get alot of subscribers, and you can increase your search engine rankings pretty quickly. The more blog posts you make, the more traffic you will get, and the more money you will potentially make.
Now making money with your blog can either be simple, or hard to do. The first thing that you will want to do to make money with your blog is to add affiliate products on it. Go to Clickbank.com or join Amazon.com's affiliate program to promote a product or service that is hosted on these websites.
Make sure you choose a product that fits the theme of your blog. If you create a blog on gardening, select an affiliate product about gardening, or go to Amazon to see if they have any gardening products. More than likely they will, and you will want to get the HTML code to insert into your blog to display alot of the gardening products that Amazon has on their website.
You can all of this with a blog. If you want to make money with Google Adsense, make sure you strategically position your ads in the right place. Personally, I like to store my ads at the very top of my blog, and immediately to the left of my blog post. I do this because of the natural movement of the eye.
People will see the ad at the top first, then quickly move their eyes from left to right... as if they were reading a book. And when they make that eye movement, you want to be right there with your Adsense ads ready to entice them to click on it. This is how I designed my blog, and it's something that alot of top Adsense owners do also.
The bottom line is that blogging is popular and it's a great way to start making more money in your online business. If you're an absolutely newbie to internet marketing, I would suggest that you start off with a blog and learn how to drive alot of traffic to it. This will give a "crash course" to internet marketing, and will prove to be a beneficial thing for your business.
