Blogs are easy to start, but aren't so easy to make money from. I know this for certain because I have a blog, and it gets good traffic everyday, but I know that if I want to get more sales than what I'm getting now, I'm going to have to "ramp up" my traffic and get multitudes of people coming in and enjoying my information.

If you wanted to start making money with Google Adsense or Clickbank on your blog but are struggling to do so, the main reason is probably due to a lack of traffic. If you didn't already know, traffic is easy to come by, you just have to be persistent with it. Don't check your stats every 10 minutes to see if anybody has clicked on your Adsense ads... you'll drive yourself nuts by doing that.

Today I want to share with you a few traffic strategies that you can use to boost your blog traffic, and also to boost the amount of money that you're earning with Google Adsense and Clickbank on your blog. I assure you that all of these techniques are simple and easy to use, but it's up to you to start implementing the strategies yourself and start taking action right away. Here's the first tip for getting more traffic to your blog.

1) Submit to the blog directories

There are a ton of blog directories on the internet that people visit to subscribe, join, and interact on your blog. Alot of these directories require a link back to their website before they can include you in their directory, but it's worth it to do it. There are a large number of these blog directories, but you should only stick to submitting to the top 20.

Now if one of these directories reject your approval to be included in their blog directory, don't worry about. Simply replace the rejected directory with another directory. Also, with these 2-way back links from your blog and the directory, it can boost your search engine rankings. This is a great way to get more traffic to your blog. Here's another way:

2) RSS feeds

You can easily get an RSS feed from a site called Feedburner. Feedburner is a Google company, and they make it very easy to get an RSS feed for your blog. Once you've signed up with Feedburner and have your RSS feed, it's time to start submitting these feeds to the RSS directories on the internet.

Luckily, submitting these feeds are incredibly easy. One place that I do recommend you submitting your feed to is a site called "Feedcat". You can get lots of subscribers immediately, waiting to soak up your valuable information. It doesn't matter if you have a Blogger.com blog or a Wordpress blog (although personally, I think Blogger blogs are much more easier to create and maintain). Be sure to submit your RSS feeds right away.

With these 2 traffic tips, it should be very easy to draw prospects in and get them to subscribe to your blog - especially if you have valuable information to share.

Good luck with getting traffic to your blog today.
