Where To Buy Targetted Traffic

When you need to buy targeted traffic, the choices can be so overwhelming that it is difficult. Nowadays, if you want to make money with your website, you can have the fanciest website in the world, but if you don't get targeted traffic to your website, your business will suffer and die. I always tell people that I would much rather have 100 targeted prospects than 1,000 untargeted prospects.

The first thing you need to know about how to buy targeted traffic is that you need a budget. For some people, it could be $5/day (which is what they would spend on coffee). For others, it could be $300/day. The rule of thumb is that if you are stressed about your daily budget adjust it accordingly.
The other key, before you decide where to buy targeted traffic, is to diversify. Never sink all your marketing money into 1 tactic. One paid source might work better than the other. You never know. In marketing, it is all about testing. If you are not testing and measuring each campaign, that is the best way to lose money.

Let's look at some sources about where to buy targeted traffic:

Google Adwords - Since Google practically owns the web, this is the most obvious place to go. You select keywords (through Google Adwords) and place bids. Often Google will provide you with a $100 voucher if you are a new account. You can call and ask for it or go to a site like fiverr.com.

Yahoo/Bing - They use Microsoft Adcenter although I think they just changed it to Bing Adwords (or something like that). Yahoo & Bing are often cheaper than Google, but you still have to be careful.

7search.com/Adknowledge.com - These are lesser know sites but they don't charge as much per click. Definitely worth testing if you are on a budget.

Facebook PPC - I have had a lot of luck using this source. It is expensive but you can really target your audience. You know people's ages and interests, so it is easy to specify your audience. Just make sure you have a higher-end product or a lower-end product with an upsell or one-time offer.

CPV/PPV - Cost per view or Pay per view. Basically, you get charged every time your website is shown. It's usually done as an exit page from another person's websites. Mediatraffic.com and DirectCPV.com are good sources.
Mobile - Everyone always forgets about mobile. For some of my advertising, I've been able to get traffic as low as $.07/per click (which is awesome!). Admob.com or Adfonic.com is a good place to start. Make sure that the website you link to is mobile-enabled site. Also, be careful with this one. Statistics show that about 50% of the clicks are done by accident, so always double your cost per click.

Solo ads - A solo ad is an ad targeted to a specific e-mail list. You can go to sites like the Warriorforum.com and search for solo ads. You can get rates as low as $40 for a guaranteed 100 clicks onto your site. This is a great way to buy targeted traffic.

Ezine Newsletters - An ezine is basically an online magazine. You can go to someplace like the Directory of Ezines. These are usually good sources but you may have to do more testing to make them work.
No matter which source you use, proceed with caution. Marketing takes a lot of testing. They say that targeted marketing is 40% list, 40% offer, and 20% creative. So, if you have the wrong list or the wrong offer, you could lose money. You want to go with something that is proven and effective.
