Tips For Promoting Your Business With Google Adwords

If you’re currently getting leads right now in your business but they aren’t buying at the rate and speed that you’d hope they would do, I think I may know the answer as to why that is. You see the majority of the people that signs up to your opt-in newsletter won’t buy right away. You will have some that buys quickly, but for the most part, your leads need to be worked.

The same is true with your Google Adwords campaign. You have to progressively move each prospect through a cycle, that is geared towards helping you to get sales. The more you can follow this process precisely, the more likely you are to start making money in your online business today.

I want to share with you 2 parts of the marketing cycle when using Google Adwords to promote your business. In fact, let’s take a look at the first aspect of the cycle:

1) What do you want your prospects to do?

When visitors land on your website, what is it that you want them to do? Do you want them to sign up for your squeeze page? Do you want them to buy your product on your sales letter page? Do you want them to follow you on Twitter and Facebook? What is it that you want them to do?

I come across websites where there is nothing but clutter and confusion when it comes to getting sales. These people may get alot of traffic, but they have no idea as to how to make people buy from them, because their website is full of clutter. So decide on what it is that you want your prospects to do, and continue to roll with it. Here’s the next step to make your Adwords campaign successful.

2) Do your keyword research

You don’t want to spend $1 a click (or more) for a keyword term. What you want to do is find obscure keywords that get searches every month, and try to bid at a low price for these keywords. You can find keywords easily by using a tool called Wordtracker, or another tool called Keyword Discovery. If you want a free tool, you can use Google’s keyword suggestion tool to help you find more keywords simply and easily.

You don’t want to bid on “broad match” keyword terms. You will only want to do “exact match” keyword terms. To do this, you will have to put a bracket around a keyword phrase. For example, if I wanted to do an exact match keyword phrase for the phrase “bird watching”, I would enter it into my Adword’s account like this:

[bird watching]

This will give you the most ideal prospect that you could ever get when looking for targeted leads. Some times these people buy instantly, and some may take a few weeks, but you should know that you will get lesser hits to your website if you were going to use a phrase match or broad match for your keywords.

These Google Adwords tips will help you to make the money that you desire in your business. Be sure to use them today so that you can get the ball rolling on your future sales and profits.

Good luck with using these tips to make Google Adwords effective today.
