Internet marketing is a subject that alot of people online are familiar with, but don't know how to monetize it and make sense of it. Most of the beginners that you see who start off online have idea of what to do, and have been listening to the hype of alot of online business owners who are doing well in their business.

But you can't believe the hype. If you stick to a proven online marketing plan, you'll be good to go, and you'll be able to earn alot of money simply and easily without alot of fuss and hassle. In today's lesson, I want to share with you some "myths" about internet marketing that just plain isn't true.

Now if you're someone who was fed alot of hype, and believe that nothing can work for you, you should give internet marketing another chance. Besides paid advertising, there are other methods that can get you website traffic quick. So don't assume that free advertising doesn't work - especially if you haven't used it to the best of your abilities.

Let's cut to the chase and take a look at some of the myths that alot of people believe before entering the world of online marketing. Here's the first myth:

MYTH NUMBER 1

- You can't start an internet business now

I don't think that there's anytime better than now that you should start your own online business. If you've recently loss your job, then I know that your income has stopped. That's why it's best to combine your job income with a residual income model in the form of an online business.

It's never too late to start an online business. There are so many niches out there where you can enter and make a large amount of money immediately. And trust me, I would know. I know alot of about a wide variety of niches, and I have turned that knowledge into recurring income for me. Let's take a look at another myth that beginners tend to believe:

MYTH NUMBER 2

- Selling high priced products are hard

Selling high priced products aren't hard. All you need is a large email list that have been created from scratch. Now I will admit... obviously selling a $19 ebook versus selling a $300 product will get you more sales. But depending on your goals, I'm not sure if you could handle the residual income that you can get from a $19 ebook.

The $300 product is tough, but it's not hard to sell. There are many people spending hundreds of dollars each day on products, and they have the money to shell out. What you will want to do is to generate alot of leads (around 5,000), and pitch them on your $300 product. Generating a list like this from scratch will take time, but once you reach it, you're sure to start earning alot of money in a short period of time.

Avoid believing in these 2 myths because they can be the cause of online business failure - and I know this something that you don't want to happen.

Good luck with using these tips to earn more money in your business today.
