Is SEO Even Worth It?

Today is a bit of a misnomer for a few reasons. It makes it seem like today is the only day you will perform SEO on your website. However, today what I want to do is create an outline for the backlink profile you will start generating over the course of the next 3-4 weeks.
While your website is more or less done after 1 week, the backlinking continues for a few beyond this to help the site rank. If your site is a one time launch site - meaning that in 3-4 weeks there will be no more organic traffic to compete for and your affiliate links will be invalid, I recommend shortening up this time a bit.

To date, we've completed the following backlinking tasks:
Now, we need to schedule in some more backlinking that will help to generate a larger volume of ongoing links.

Forum Signatures - Today, create a list of forums related to your niche using High Traffic Academy. Each day, you should create links in 1-3 of these. You can do more each day, but shouldn't load them all into a single day if you can avoid it.
Blog Comments - Set a quote for this as well. Gather a list of blogs you can comment on (you can pay someone on High Traffic Academy $20-$30 to get upwards of 100 on a list for you) and start commenting on them once every day or two.
Guest Posting - Sign up for High Traffic Academy and start submitting content to it as a contributor. Your goal is to get 3-4 solid guest post publications within the first 2-3 weeks.

Create a List of Wikis - Start submitting content to them every 1-3 days or use High Traffic Academy to generate links to your site through Wikis.

The goal is to now have a list of 5-10 backlinks each day that you will create. If you can automate some of them, go for it. Why create a list like this? Because when you go to outsource, you can do so much faster if you hand a list over to High Traffic Academy and say 'go for it'.
If you're promoting anything online, you need lots of TRAFFIC, right?
