Get Started With Less Than $50

Did you know you can start making money online with less than $50? Really, if you wanted to, you could get started for under $20, but for the sake of argument, we will look at how to start you new online business for $50 or less.

1. Hosting
You will need some type of hosting account and since we are only working with $50, you will need to find a company that offers a monthly payment option. Many hosting companies are super cheap, but expect you to pay for at least a year up front. This won't fit into our strategy. HostGator and a handful of others will let you start for around $7 to $10, which will cover your first month.
2. A Domain Name
You need to invest a little bit here because you want a .com, if possible. If you can't get the .com you want, a .net will do. However, you want to avoid the .info domain, as it doesn't hold much weight. You can usually scoop up a new domain name for under $15 from GoDaddy, NameCheap or a number of other domain registrars. Search Google for coupons and you can save some money here. I can often get .com domains for under $10 with a coupon.
3. A Marketing Method or Business Model
There are a number of choices and you might be able to get one free, but it's good to assume you will invest $20 - $30 for a guide to help you. This will consume most of the rest of your $50, unless you can find a good free report. However, even most free reports will come with recommendations, which can really add to the strategy. Consider the guides you buy or download free as your textbooks for internet marketing. You will use these to create your plan, which is next.

4. A Plan
Now, you have all the tools you need and it's just up to you. Take action by formulating a plan you can implement on a weekly or monthly basis (depending on the time you can put in). Make it a step-by-step plan you can repeat, even if that means getting another domain to repeat it with. Use the guide(s) you download and invest in, to help you create your plan.
5. Take Action
All you need to do now is take action and concern yourself with working your plan. Commit at least 90 days to your plan before making any significant adjustments. This will give you plenty of time to see whether it works or not. Remember, sometimes it's not the plan, but the niche or the website. You really need to work your plan with 3-5 different websites, products or niches before you will know whether it's successful or not.
