1) Set a daily budget

Now notice how I didn't say "set a MONTHLY budget". You will want to set a daily budget to start off slow, and see if your advertising dollars are working hard for you. Monthly budgets are for advertisers and big companies who have thousands (even millions) of dollars to spend on advertising. If you don't have this kind of money, don't even attempt to do it.

Setting a daily budget will allow you to monitor your results, instead of betting the farm on everything. You never want to bet the farm... just start off slow, and once you see good results, increase your advertising budget a little more. Here's another Google Adwords success tip:

2) Write a good ad

You really do need to make your ad attractive. There's nothing more important in my opinion that your ad should reflect whatever it is that is listed on your landing page. This is something that you will need to refine and tweak so that it can get approved by Google, and so that your ad can appear more often in the search engine results.

Make your ad standout from the rest with a good headline, description, and even a relevant website address. All of these factors combined will help you to have the internet marketing success that you are looking for.
