When you are just starting out with your internet marketing business, you may find that it is very hard to generate a consistent income online. The reason for this is because you don't have a lot of ground work done to give your business the push and momentum that it need to get to the next level.

I am about to share how I made my first $500 day when I just started out which gave me the momentum I needed to take my business to higher heights.

How It Started Out
Back in late 2007 or early 2008 I bought an internet marketing product that had a set of bonus videos included. These bonus videos showed how to start a business from scratch as an affiliate marketer and then to being a product creator to sell you own products.
I followed the videos to the T and I started out in the acne niche. I selected a product from clickbank and then got an acne related domain for myself. I then signed up for an autoresponder service and created a squeeze page to capture leads. I then created a short report with tips and strategies on how to treat acne naturally to offer persons that were looking for help with their acne.
At this time I didn't have any advertising budget so my only means of getting traffic was to focus on free methods. So I started out with article marketing and I wrote and submit articles everyday pointing back to my squeeze page to collect my visitors information.
The product I was promoting paid around $26 per sale and I would get at least 1 sale for every 40 subscriber I was getting. So after promoting the product for sometime, I decided I would then move over from being an affiliate to creating my own product as was shown in the training videos.
So It took me about 3 weeks before I completed the product with sales page, bonuses and download pages etc. Then following the exact formula in the training videos, I created a prelaunch to the subscribers that I had. I had a little over 500 at the time.
On launch day I sold my product for $39 and sold 13 sales netting me my first $500 dollar day!
That was a long time ago and a lot of things have changed. However, the principles remain the same.
