When I first started out online, I was bombarded by the number of traffic generation methods out there. I can remember where I had a list of 70 ways to get traffic, but I had nowhere to begin. I thought to myself, "Great! Now all I have to do is do these 70 on a weekly basis, and I'll start getting alot of traffic to my website." Unfortunately, this was not the case.
It took me a long time to find a traffic system for myself that I could use to get people to my site, and get them to buy something from me. Now the traffic system that I have created myself is something that you can count on 2 hands. I only have about 10 strategies that I use every week, and they do a good job of bringing me the traffic that I'm looking for.
In today's lesson, I want to share with you a portion of my internet marketing traffic plan so that you can use them and duplicate the results that I am getting from you. They're very simple and easy to use, and I think you will have no problem implementing them in your business today.
Here's the first tip for getting traffic to your website:
1) Podcasts
I like podcast marketing. You can start a podcast blog and setup an account with a website called "Feedburner", and you can start your own podcast marketing plan this way. You will want to submit your podcast blog to all of the blog directories, and you will want to submit your blog's RSS feed to all of the RSS feed directories.
But you only have to do this once. Once it's in there, it's in there for life. Now some blog directories will not accept your blog into inclusion of their website. But that's okay... there are other blog directories that you can submit to, and you should focus your energies on those that will more than likely accept your blog.
Creating the podcast is easy. All you need is a microphone and a recording software, and you are good to go. Podcasts don't take long to create, and they're an excellent way to get the word out about your business. Just be sure to mention your website at the beginning and end of your podcast.

2) Article marketing
I like article marketing because it can bring you alot of traffic to your website simply and easily. It's very simple to do also. Simply write up a 400 to 500 word article and submit them to the article directories. You will get search engine traffic, you will get traffic from people searching for your kind of articles on the article directory itself, and you will get traffic from those people who have the permission to take your article and post it onto their website.
It can be very potent strategy if you stick with it. It's something that doesn't require alot of work. If you can write 1 to 2 articles per day, then you're on the right track. Soon you will find yourself becoming prolific with your article writing, and you will be cranking out article simply and easily on a daily basis.
These 2 strategies for getting traffic to your website are things that you will want to consider if you want to have the utmost chances of success in your internet business. Take these tips and use them to earn the kind of money that you're looking for in your business today.
