Blogger vs Wordpress - what to use to blog online

Do you want to be a blogger? Would you like to start with a free platform just to get your feet wet? Haven't decided if you're going to use a blogger blog or a wordpress one? Let's analyze some of the pros and cons...

If you just want to get started and see how it works, you can use either platform. They both have free signups. If I were to choose one as the most user-friendly, I would choose wordpress.

Both blogger and wordpress can host your blog for free, but with limitations. If you want to monetize the blog, blogger allows you to do that, while wordpress.com reserves the right to shut your account down if you run the blog for commercial purposes. Blogger works GREAT with Adsense. It should make no surprise since they are both Google products...

Both of them can be used to transfer the blog from the free hosting to your own hosting (and domain) at any point you wish so (preferably when you already have people reading your posts daily).

Every platform has its pros and cons, but I'm guessing you research the best options because you want to get paid for your blogging, don't you? In that case, read carefully...
