The fastest way to get traffic to your website and to start getting sales is by using advertising. Advertising is a great way to see traffic and sales fast, all by limiting the amount of work that you have to do on a daily basis. There are many ways to advertise your business on the internet, and in today's lesson, I want to share with you one good method in particular.

If you haven't heard about "Google Adwords" yet, then it's time that you start using and learning more about it today. This is by far the fastest and easiest way to get targeted traffic to your website immediately... I'm talking hours here. Google Adwords is a "pay per click" service that you use to pay a small fee every time someone clicks on your website in the Google search engine results.

Have you ever heard of the term "pay per click" advertising or "PPC"? If not, then you should make it a point to learn more about it today. There are 2 major pay per click services out there, and one is bigger than the other. The 2 major pay per click services that I am talking about are Google Adwords, and Microsoft Adcenter. Google Adwords is bigger. Personally in my opinion, all other pay per click networks don't compare to these 2 major services.

Now using PPC isn't all fun and games. You really do have to have a good strategy if you want to have success with it simply and easily. You have to analyze your competition, research some good, non competitive keywords, keep your costs low, and use all the tools that Google Adwords and Microsoft Adcenter gives to you.

Believe it or not, these 2 companies really want to see you succeed. Both allow you to track your conversions, track your costs versus your sales, and even offers a "content" or "display" network that you can use to advertise on specific websites. This feature can bring you alot of sales if you know what you are doing.

Now truthfully, you will more than likely get more traffic and clicks from Google Adwords since it's larger than Microsoft Adcenter. But along with this traffic comes alot of competition. You may find that you're spending $1 per click on your campaign. If you sell a product for $20, within 20 clicks, you're about to enter into the negative zone.

Unless you know your conversions well and know what the average lifetime value of a customer is, you should stay away from bidding a high price on Google Adwords. This is why I said to find non-competitive keywords that you can bid on so that you can get clicks for around 10 cents per click. This is much better than $1 per click.

Google Adwords and Microsoft Adcenter are 2 pay per click services that can deliver good results for you. You will want to make sure to put them into action for yourself if you want to see the sales and profits that you are looking for in your online business. They are more than worth it.

Good luck with using these tips to earn more money in your online business today.
