If you want more ways for generating tonnes of free traffic back to your website then it doesn't get any better than what I'm about to show you.

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last decade you will know that Youtube gets a boat load of traffic each and every day.

For years we have been able to use Youtube videos to send traffic to other websites of our choice. We used to be able to put a link to the right hand side of a youtube video (back in the day) and this used to work quite well for funneling traffic back to our website but youtube decided to change this.

Youtube changed it so your links appear under the youtube video which wasn't as effective because before, your links used to be "above the fold" now people have to look under the video and often have to scroll down the page which really effects your click through rate and how much traffic you can generate from your links.

But that is all old school now so don't worry :-)

The way you can now use youtube blows everything else out of the water.

You can now include actual links within your video linking back to your website.

Cool Huh!

And sooo much easier!

Well it is cool but I will be honest, youtube don't exactly make it easy for you to set it up or work out how to do it.

Rather than you scratch your brains for days and even weeks (like i did) trying to figure out how it all works I have made a video showing you exactly how to set everything up in 5 minutes so you can start sending traffic to your websites from within your youtube videos.

Here is the video:
Here are the steps written down in case you would rather read instead of watching the video.

Step 1 - Go to your youtube settings

Step 2 - Go to features

Step 3 - Your account needs to be in good standing. Ensure the rest of your icons are green. Verify your account with text or phone message.

Step 4 - Once verified the associated website link appears.

Step 5 - Go to associated website.

Step 6 - Enter the name of your website you wish to link out to.

Step 7 - You now need to verify that you own the website with google webmaster.

Step 8 - Click verify.

Step 9 - You need/can only use a gmail account to verify because the verifying process is run by google webmaster.

Step 10 - If your youtube account email address is a gmail email address you can verify your account quite easily by following the steps to verify your website in google webmaster.

Step 11 - If your youtube account IS NOT a gmail email address you need to create a gmail account and then log into google webmaster, verify you own your website then (add your youtube email address as "verified owner")

Step 12 - Go to google webmaster and click on "verification details" Scroll down and click "add an owner" Add the email address of your youtube account.

Step 13 - Go back to youtube log in and your associated website should be green.

Step 14 - Go to any of your videos, click edit, then annonations, then you can create a clickable external link in a youtube video.

Well this is how it all works. As you can see it's really simple once someone shows you :-)

Now that you have the option of sending people to your website direct from within a youtube video you can generate a tonne more traffic with no more extra work.

You can use any website that you want you just need to own it yourself.

The options are endless.

You can send traffic to:

Your blog
Adsense sites
Affiliate sites
Squeeze pages
Review sites
Sales pages

In order for you to use other websites you just need to verify that you own it and carry out the same steps as I showed you above.
