With a large email list, you can do alot of good online. You will get sales everyday, your income will be predictable. You'll have a steady stream of income coming in. And more. If you're not building an email list, now is certainly the time to do so. Because having one will boost your sales in the best way as possible.

Now many people who attempt to do email marketing find themselves not having alot of success. This is mainly because they aren't doing all of the things that they need to be doing, when it comes to making their list responsive. It isn't hard to make your email list profitable... you will just have to take 2 minutes out of your day to implement profitable techniques.

With the right cultivation of your list, you can go beyond the mediocre and average conversion rates of just 1% to 2%. If you want to know what things you will need to do to break through this low conversion rate, then you have arrived at the right place. Here's the first tip for cultivating your email list, and making them responsive:

1) Share stories about yourself

Nobody wants a dull experience with their list owner. Typically people respond more if they think you're connecting with them on a deeper, emotional level. One of the best ways to do this in your email marketing campaigns is to share personal details about yourself to your list.

Tell stories and engage your readers in the "action". They want to be there and want to hear personal stories about yourself - in relation to the product that you're selling and the niche that you're in. In some niches, people will feel "connected" to you all by telling them a traumatic story about yourself.

When I started telling stories to my prospects and customers, I saw my conversion rates immediately increase. So in every email that I sent out (and still send out), I make it a point to include a short bit of my life to the people on my list. Here's another way to cultivate your email list and get more sales from it:

2) Email frequently

I personally like emailing my list every 3 to 4 days. This is a good timeline for emailing your subscribers. Don't email everyday, and certainly don't email twice a day - everyday. Believe it or not, there are people doing this all the time to try and rush the sale from a lead or customer that they acquired.

But don't do this. The last thing you want is for your subscribers to think of you as a "pest", instead of a welcomed guest. I tried emailing everyday, and was dumbfounded when I saw lots of my subscribers unsubscribing from my list. As a rule of thumb, keep in mind every 3 to 4 days to mail to your prospects (and customers).

Take these 2 email marketing tips and use them to earn more money in your online business today. If you want to improve your sales, simply follow these techniques, and you will be good to go.

Good luck with having email marketing success in your online business.
