Email Marketing And Sales Letter Pages Versus Squeeze Pages

I know some business owners online who like to lead people straight to their sales letter page, as opposed to leading them to a squeeze page or a webpage that is full of content. And they do this for very good reasons. One of the people who does this is myself. I've tested many different things to get more sales from my product, but nothing seems to work better than leading people directly to my sales letter page.

Here's a rule of thumb: If you sell a product from $7-$49, you should probably lead people to your sales letter page. If you sell a product from $60-$500... you should probably generate a lead. It's going to be a tough sale to convince someone to buy a $500 product from you, and they don't even know who you are. Because of this, you will want to start an opt-in email newsletter, and follow up on your leads who you are trying to sell your $500 product too.

Now don't get me wrong. Believe it or not, many people are getting $500 sales everyday - without an email list. But you should know that these people throw a great surge of targeted traffic to their website everyday via the means of advertising. And people who buy large ticket items are EXCELLENT customers. They buy more and more and more, and ultimately, they become more successful students than the customers who paid only $37 for a product.

I currently use email marketing for my backend marketing purposes. This is where 80% of my total business profits will come from, so I'd be an idiot if I didn't pursue the idea of using email marketing in my business. I know alot of people get hung up on the idea that they need more new frontend customers, but the people who will spend even more money with you resides in your customer list.

This is the most profitable list that you can have. It's more valuable than a joint venture list, and it's more valuable than a prospect list. This is something that you have to completely wrap your brain around because it's something that is very important if you want to have the business success that you are looking for.

Making money on the frontend is fine, but when it comes down to really getting profits for your business, the backend is where it's at. So whether you drive people to your sales letter page first or your squeeze page first, make sure you collect the customer and put them into your backend marketing funnel.

If you don't have alot of experience with creating websites or squeeze pages, simply outsource it to someone. This can be easily done online for around $300, but usually it's more than worth it.

Make it a priority to sell as much to your backend customers as possible. Put them into your backend email marketing funnel, and get them to buy from you again within the next 30-60 days. This is where your real money will come from, and it will make you very profitable.

Good luck with using these tips to have the kind of online business success that you are looking for.
