If you're internet business is currently in the "slumps" and you aren't getting the sales in your business that you are looking for, then it's time to try something new. No matter what you do for a living online, you have to realize 1 important fact. It doesn't matter how good you are in your business. What matters is if you have a strong marketing plan to promote your business.
In fact, many online business owners think that if they just build their website, people will come. But this is simply not the case. You have to promote yourself online in a way that gets loads of people to come to your site and start earning the money that they are looking for.
And in truth, it doesn't matter what the title of your business is. It doesn't matter if you sell books, furniture, food, wine, video games, DVD's, boots, clothes, computers, TV's, or etc. The fact of the matter is that the REAL business that you're in is the INTERNET MARKETING business.
If this is tough for you to understand, trust me, I know how you feel. I used to think that since I was good at what I do, I would be earning a ton of money simply off of my expertise alone. But soon I discovered that I was absolutely wrong. What really mattered was that I needed a ton of traffic coming through to my website everyday, or I was going to be out of business really soon.
And sure enough... I went out of business... FAST.
I'm back now though and I realize that without re-engineering my thinking from becoming an "entrepreneur" to a "marketer", I won't have the kind of internet success that I am looking for. This is something that is very important, and is something that I fully understand now.
I'm sure that you can use a constant stream of new traffic coming in on a daily basis, and if you want to make this a reality, you will have to put your work in - just like everybody else. Becoming an "internet marketer" will radically change your way of thinking, and will more than likely improve the chances of you traffic and sales in your business than you can possibly handle.
You don't have to fail. Don't be among the 95% of brand new internet business owners who will fail this year. Reverse engineer yourself and become part of the 5% of the people who will have success. I know you can do it because it isn't hard, and the work that you would have to do is minimal.
